  • C major scale (one octave, hands separate)

  • Introduction to basic triads (C major, G major)

  • Simple two-hand coordination exercises

  • Playing basic songs using both hands

Expanding Repertoire

  • Learning a simple beginner song (e.g., "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star")

  • Introduction to legato and staccato articulation

  • Practicing with a metronome

Reading Sheet Music

  • Identifying notes on the staff without looking at hands

  • Reading and playing simple songs

  • Exploring different time signatures (4/4, 3/4)

Left Hand Development

  • Basic left-hand chord patterns

  • Simple accompaniment patterns (blocked chords, broken chords)

  • Playing with both hands together in simple pieces

Expanding Scales & Chords

  • G major scale (one octave)

  • Introduction to D major chord

  • Playing songs incorporating chords

  • Exploring simple dynamic changes in songs

Developing Expressiveness

  • Playing with phrasing and expression

  • Exploring tempo variations

  • Learning a simple expressive piece

Hands Together Coordination

  • Playing hands together in simple songs

  • Expanding left-hand patterns

  • Strengthening finger independence exercises

 Introduction to Simple Improvisation

  • Basic improvisation over C major chord progression

  • Experimenting with rhythms and simple melodies

  • Creating small musical phrases

Review & Performance Preparation

  • Reviewing learned pieces and skills

  • Finalizing a piece for a small performance or recording
